FLIGHT TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY

  • No-show penalty: I understand that if I schedule a flight lesson with WFC flight instructor, and do not arrive for that lesson, I am subject to a penalty charge of one hour of the scheduled time at the flight instructor rate, if not properly canceled and released by WFC. This penalty will not apply if I call and cancel the lesson and/or rental at least twenty-four hours before its scheduled time, or if due to inclement weather. In either case, I understand that it is my responsibility to contact the flight school to cancel that flight at the earliest time possible.
  • I am responsible for and agree to pay any and all normal and customary customer charges and/or costs associated with my flight training, aircraft rental and/or purchase of equipment or supplies. If my account is referred to an attorney for collection, then in addition to my account balance which I agree that I am obligated to pay. I agree to pay actual attorneys fees incurred which shall be not less than one-third of the amount that I owe, plus court costs, and interest in the amount of two (2) percent per month on any balance more than thirty (30) days past due.

Outstanding family run flight school, or just a really unique experience seeing the Williamsburg area from the air if you are visiting. They give great air tours of the Historic Triangle area! I took flight lessons from them, and passed my FAA check ride earning my private pilot’s license. They were always willing to work with my schedule and their instructor staff was excellent. All instructors were highly knowledgeable, patient, and prepare the students very well. A great local business willing to work to meet your individual needs. If you have not seen the area from the air you really are missing something.

"Highlight Of The Trip"

This was my first time on an airplane EVER. We had Ed & he was the coolest. This was a very immersive experience with the pilot letting us be a part of the flight. This was the highlight of the trip! So fun! I wasn’t even nervous when we got in the air. I felt he had complete control. Definitely bringing our kids the next time we are down here!

Had an amazing time on the aerial tour! It was a thrill for my kids to see everything from the air that they had learned about on the ground. Our pilot was very knowlegable and enjoys teaching others about aviation. Fascinating to see Colonial Williamsburg and the area from a different perspective - a must-do if you are in the Williamsburg / Jamestown / Yorktown area, and very reasonably priced!
